We offer a variety of car detailing services to suit different budgets and requirements. Car detailing includes a range of process but can be distilled down to three main elements: cleaning, enhancement and protection. Interior car detailing includes a deep clean of all surfaces to return them to “as-new” condition. Exterior car detailing involves safe washing, decontamination, machine polishing and the application of protection such as ceramic coatings.
Ceramic coatings are liquid polymer solutions which are applied to the exterior surfaces and harden to form a tough layer of protection. Ceramic coatings can be applied to paintwork, glass, wheels, exhaust tips and plastic trim. Coatings offer numerous benefits including exceptional durability (up to 7-years), extreme hydrophobicity and gloss, UV protection, wash-marring resistance and chemical resistance.
Car detailing goes a step further than valeting by incorporating additional processes such as machine polishing and ceramic coating. Valeting is generally about just cleaning, whereas detailing services also enhance the condition of the paintwork and place more emphasis on protecting the finish as well.
New cars need detailing for two reasons. Firstly, new vehicles typically have surface defects (scratches and swirl marks) upon collection from the dealership which need to be corrected via machine polishing. Secondly, the best time to protect a vehicle with Ceramic Coating or Paint Protection Film (PPF) is when it is brand-new, as this will keep the car looking its best for years to come.
